St Mark's Healer Prayer Group
This group meets in the side chapel of the Church every Wednesday throughout the year to pray for the sick. We usually use the Late Evening Office from the Prayer Book as the structure for the service and a short homily is always preached.
It was a priority for Jesus and for the early Church that a ministry of healing to the sick should be available to all who could approach with faith and this group tries to maintain an important part of that ministry (prayer) all year round.
If you wish to become part of the Group undertaking this important ministry please do come along on Wednesday nights. If you wish to have a name included on the list speak to the Rector or write the name in the blue book on the credence table in the side chapel.
