St Mark's Sanctuary Guild

In December 1993 twenty Tapestry Kneelers were dedicated for use in the Side Chapel. These were all made by St Mark's Sanctuary Guild. The design on each one is different, a type of cross, some were taken from a set pattern & others were the guild's own design. Five colours only were used. A dark red, dark & light blue, gold and cream. The kneelers were also made up and finished off by the members of the Sanctuary Guild

A couple of years later they made two seat covers for the Prayer Desks, the design on these replicates the "tiles" in the Sanctuary and the tiles leading up beside the Choir Pews. There were also 2 seat covers made for the Bishop's chairs & 2 flat kneelers for use at weddings.
